在世界末日之后，两个女人发现自己在一个荒岛上遭遇船难，孤立无援。当这两个女孩为生存而战时，她们的共同经历以她们从未想象过的方式将她们联系在一起。。Somewhere in Myanmar is a forest rich in amber and controlled by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA). Most of its inhabitants work in a mine, digging the earth night and days in the hope of finding the precious ore that will get them out of poverty. But on top of the excruciating hardship of the work, they also have to fear an attack from the army.。外表风光无限的堂上综合医院，实际上正经历着经营等方面的困境。在这里，本应“救死扶伤”的医生们似乎忘记了自己的职责与医德，醉心名利，惮于担当，明哲保身，如是弊端重重，正将这家医院推向万劫不复的深渊。这一天，名叫相良浩介（泽村一树 饰）来到此地。他是曾在大学医院供职十余年、有着三千次开刀经历的外科医师，丰富的从艺经验、阳光向上的开朗性格加上崇高无上的医德，让他成为广大患者的福音。泽村精湛的医术很快一起医院内外的关注，而以森山卓（高岛政伸 饰）医生为首的一众“寄生虫”则视其为眼中钉。
