故事背景设置在1870年代的美国西部小镇，一名性格温和的丹麦移民在失去了家人之后向凶手报仇，然而这让他成为了当地一个臭名昭著的大恶棍的眼中钉。镇上贪生怕死的居民全都背叛了他，留下了主人公独自面对那些不法之徒。。Architect Peter Ibbetson is hired by the Duke of Towers to design a building for him. Ibbetson discovers that the Duchess of Towers, Mary, is his now-grown childhood sweetheart. Their love revives, but Peter is sentenced to life in prison for an accidental killing. Mary comes to him in dreams and they are able to live out their romance in a dream world.。
