在第8季的结尾，主角一行进入了一个未知世界——童话之地！RWBY小队开始探索这个奇异且神秘的地方，她们很快发现这个地方并非如她们想象那般美好。她们将经历一些艰难的挑战——对自我的坚守或找寻，以及是否仍有能力阻止Salem。。青虫怪利用监视蔬菜精灵的办法偷窥到了很多蔬菜精灵们的秘密，在得意之下他大肆宣扬，放了个大喇叭对着蔬菜园，循环播放自己观察到的秘密嘲笑蔬菜精灵们，蔬菜精灵们很生气，觉得自己的隐私被侵犯了，大家决定主动出击去找青虫怪算账。没过几天，蔬菜精灵们造出了一个空中播放器，他们要以欺人之道还治欺人之身，收集了青虫怪的癖好和隐私在空中播放，而且还会随着导航向其它的青虫居住地飞行，让青虫怪也尝尝隐私被人侵犯的滋味。青虫怪即恼怒又无可奈何，只好躲在贪吃府不出门，蔬菜园又可以维持一段时间的平静了。。Lost Worlds takes viewers on a global exploration of the fascinating interconnectedness of all living things.
