该剧根据1942年真实发生的“文化名人大营救”事件改编而成，包括茅盾、夏衍、 邹韬奋、丁聪等在内的800多名中国当时最著名的文化界人士，在数个省市的抗日队伍的帮助下，奇迹般躲避了日军搜捕，这场大营救行动被茅盾褒扬为——“抗战以来最伟大的抢救工作。”因为据说，如果这场营救行动不成功，整个中国的文学史和艺术史都将被改写。。在接受了关于不良行为的可怕教训后，三个不守规矩的六岁孩子开始了一场混乱的追求，寻求最终的“善行”，处处引发混乱。。Penny-less and job-less, Sandy gets by on her looks and attitude, and by borrowing from her high-powered sister.
