该影片讲述了住在钢铁厂旧家属楼的飞哥（李嘉文饰演）以街头卖唱为生，独自照顾着性格内向、不爱说话的儿子六弟（韩昊霖饰演）。由于飞哥没有婚史，六弟的户口只能挂在表哥名下。这年六弟七岁，飞哥查出自己已经癌症晚期，为了让六弟在自己死后依然能无忧生活，他决定把六弟送给结婚多年膝下无子的表哥收养。两人商定日期，到时表哥将带走六弟去国外生活，父子分离的时间倒计时也是飞哥生命的倒计时就此展开的故事。。From Joseph Conrad's great novel comes the story of a young seaman trying to helm a damaged boat to Singapore and dealing with many unfortunate events.
