艾玛（亚历山德拉·香度 Alexandra Chando 饰）和苏顿（亚历山德拉·香度 Alexandra Chando 饰）是一对双胞胎姐妹，刚刚出生便被分别送往了两个家境迥异的家庭抚养。艾玛成长在贫穷的家庭中，生活里事事都不甚如意，日子过得越来越憋屈。而苏顿则幸运的多，她被有钱人家领养，成为了养尊处优的千金大小姐，不仅有一帮无话不谈的好友，还交了一位英俊帅气的男友。
一次偶然中，艾玛和苏顿重逢了，惊异于两人几乎一模一样的容貌，苏顿提出了一个令艾玛怎么也想不通的请求——代替自己，体验几天富家小姐的生活。然而，几天过去了，苏顿却音信全无，与此同时，艾玛开始意识到，自己似乎落入了一个圈套当中。。It's amazing to have finally seen this lost film. Poor Mark Burns died this year without ever having seen the finished film! Why was it lost? It's quite good but I can understand that even if this film had a normal release in cinemas it would not have been a hit. It's too sad and tragic. The performances are great, tho.
