工藤の長編3作目「遠いところ」は、沖縄の若年層の実態を描いた物語。沖縄の子供の困窮した状況、DV、シングルマザーの様子を追ったルポルタージュに工藤が自身の生い立ちを重ね合わせたことから企画が生まれ、独自に取材を重ね全編沖縄で撮影した。。阿豹和对对两情相悦，但对对父亲不同意，阿豹就和对对私奔，对对父亲和妹妹去看对对，变相承认了阿豹女婿的身份。阿豹在一次偶然的机缘巧合下，得到了大公司的认可。两人生活越来越好，阿豹越来越忙，对对做起了家庭主妇。两人的差距和不理解，导致了矛盾。Remo Guerra is a policeman with a double life, who at night with a group of thugs, who he occasionally meets in bars, raids rich people's houses in Rome.
