本剧改编自同名漫画。在无声咖啡馆“朝颜”工作的神秘主角不思议麻衣（松村沙友理饰），因为某天的一个契机，与性格亲近人的年下男同事上下亮（驹木根葵汰饰）开始了一种“相互观察”的关系。随着两人一起工作的时间增加，麻衣逐渐被亮所吸引。然而，由于初恋留下的心理阴影，她对恋爱有着复杂的执念，导致这段感情并不顺利。另一方面，亮同样对麻衣心生情愫，尽管他总是保持冷静的表情，但内心却早已溢满对麻衣的情感…。A series of freak weather occurrences around Washington D.C. reunites two estranged brothers who are the sons of a once prestigious climate scientist.
