But soon, Max, the kooky grandfather they've only met twice before, joins their adventure... and fr...。电影美术指导芙月（林依晨饰）为了返家照顾病重的父亲，不得不中途离开剧组，放下正在改建的台北古宅，陪着家人回到家乡嘉义，在这段回到故乡陪伴父亲的日子里，芙月踏遍了阿公生前的足迹，回想起阿公的信念和传承的信仰，找回自己新生的力量。。许玲许龙姐弟幼年失散，四十年后，弟弟许龙富甲一方，成为首富。而姐姐许玲则是瘫痪在床，还要面临丈夫的欺负。最终，许龙经过阴差阳错，终于找到并且认出了姐姐许玲，并且带姐姐过上了富足的生活，弥补了四十年来的遗憾。
