方言（王志文 饰）和杜梅（江珊 饰）就像所有的恋人一样，在吵闹然后又复合的分分离离中经历了一段刻骨铭心的爱情。起初，两人的相处并不顺利，先是杜梅误会方言身边已有女友，而后杜梅借意透露将赴舞会，婉转邀请方言前往当其舞伴，然而误会又接踵而至，两人的关系陷入僵局。
